Abstract:

Every day the world is surrounded by great challenges such as political, economic and social welfare and climate change, environmental degradation, food insecurity, famine, increasing poverty and homelessness, deforestation, and the reduction of clean drinking water. Despite technological, economic, and social advances, these grand challenges remain stubborn and become even more apparent with time. Entrepreneurship is considered as a strategy for developing countries, creating employment and prosperity, recognizing suitable opportunities and increasing production, because its innovations bring demands for new products that did not exist in the past. As a result, it will increase the supply of new products and increase employment and improve the living conditions of people in the society. Sustainable entrepreneurship provides the impact of the inherent complexities of simultaneous production of social, environmental and economic value, as well as considering the needs of future generations. Cost-effective innovation is limited resource-based production of goods and services and an innovative solution that provides low-cost yet high-quality products to meet the needs of low-income customers living in resource-constrained environments. This research deals with the relationship between sustainable entrepreneurship and cost-effective innovation in date processing and complementary industries. It has been collected by using statistics and information for the units of date processing and supplementary industries that are active in three fields of marketing, packaging and processing of date products in Kerman province. The main issue of sustainable development is that natural resources are few and the provision of human well-being should be considered in the framework of this issue. Therefore, according to these issues, people should use resources in such a way that they do not destroy the opportunities of the next generation. Therefore, in order to reduce this problem, entrepreneurs are looking for innovations that produce sustainable goods and services. In this regard, in order to protect the environment, sustainable entrepreneurship was proposed. which is capable of development, improvement and sustainability considering the limited environmental resources. Sustainable entrepreneurship as a way to solve inequality and environmental degradation is being increasingly recognized by researchers, practitioners and policy makers.
