University of Messina, Italy
Chiara Genovese is researcher in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Messina (Italy). She received her Ph.D. in Engineering and Chemistry of Materials in 2008 discussing a thesis focused on innovative catalytic processes for H2 separation. After completing her Ph.D., she joined the Laboratory of Catalysis for Sustainable Production and Energy (CASPE) at the University of Messina. There, she gained extensive experience in developing materials and processes for sustainable energy production and alternative green fuels. Since 2003, has actively participated in numerous national and international multidisciplinary research projects. Her primary scientific interests concern the field of heterogeneous catalysis, with a special focus on photo and photo-electro-catalytic processes. Additionally, she explores the topic of plasma-assisted catalysis for converting small molecules. Her scientific activity is documented by over 50 peer-reviewed publications and approximately 70 contributions to international and national conferences with an h-index of 25.
