Abstract:

Neurological disorders, with augment steep slope of prevalence, comprise a wide range of disease and correspond outcomes that impose a great burden on social, family, and individual health areas. As an important priority in the prevention and treatment of problem; Cannabis sativa have been deliberated in studies in terms of effectiveness and possible side effects. In this study, we reviewed the publications in PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar engine with MeSH keywords: CBD, Cannabidiol, neurological disorder, Cannabis sativa. The medicinal cannabis disposition has been germinated in the global pharmaceutical market. Based on the results of the present study; the first FDA approval of CBD was used in a scarce neurological syndrome (Lenox-Gastaut and Dravet syndrome). Numerous clinical studies have shown the effectiveness and safety of CBD in the treatment of neurological disorders, and scientific evidence is being published in the field of research related to the potential effects of CBD in the treatment of a wide range of neurological and neoplastic diseases. The need to investigate the effectiveness of the drug in seizure control and quality of life remained as important gap.The use of CBD in neurological disorder still has challenges to defeat, such as the lack of standardized doses and potential side effects, the potential benefits of CBD cannot be discounted. A more precise determination of the mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential requires further research and clinical trials. Hence, the future looks bright for CBD as a treatment option, giving hope to patients with these debilitating diseases .  

Biography:

The late dear professor Dr. Gholamreza Amin is completely specialized the effect of cannabis on diabetes, neuropathic pain, drug addiction and neurology, etc. He has published more than 150 articles and dozens of books in abundant herbal medicines. Shima afshar has graduated PhD of clinical pharmacy from Shahid Behshti University of Medical Sciences in 2023. Now I am exerting as a researcher in herbal and new medicine and as a reviewer of articles in various journals. I published 10 papers in reputed journals.
