Abstract:

This article presents a unique discussion  about the skills that need to be developed for the productive use of  leisure time among individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is easy to organize this among children with neurotypical development. However , the methods of learning and applying these games are entirely different for children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We develop any ultimate skills by primarily focusing on the foundational sub- skills that comprise them. Extensive research has been conducted to support this process. These methods are carefully designed with full consideration of all aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This article categorizes and classifies the sub - skills which are essential for game development , the methods and approaches for delivering instructions, and the skill development strategies based on different types of games. These methods and approaches are carefully designed prioritize the strengths of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is evident from the research that  children with Autism Spectrum Disorder demonstrate high performance in board games.

It demonstrates the primary conditions and prerequisites , their developmental progress, trajectories and systems,  as well as the instructional strategies necessary for teaching the game. Currently , these methods  are regularly updated to ensure that children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder can spend time effectively with their peers. 

Biography:

Kamala Aliyeva  , a PHD student , has been teaching at Khazar University for over 10 years. Alongside her academic role , she serves as a psychologist at Ugur Rehabilitation Centre. She has been a speaker at numerous international conferences and has authored more than 10 scholarly scientific articles.
